Reid Falco Elite Road Bike

RRP $1,099

The Falco Elite is our top specc'd road bike, and your ticket to road riding and racing. It's the perfect platform for joining the peleton in epic endurance rides, criterium racing, triathlons or simply getting fit. It features a complete Shimano 105 groupset.

The Falco Sport uses our flagship road racing frame and the venerable Shimano 105 groupset. This gives outstanding performance and reliability. This bike is race ready. The 6061 alloy frame is lightweight, with a balance of vertical compliance and lateral stiffness for excellent on-road handling. The carbon fibre fork lowers weight and further reduces road buzz, ideal for endurance riding.

Shimano 105 derailleurs and shifters give crisp shifting performance. We've used a full Shimano 105 drivetrain, including the deraillieurs, shifters, chain and cassette for speed and durability without any sacrifice in performance. The Shimano 105 standard crankset is ideal for racing, while the wide range cassette (12-27) gives low gears to tackle the hills and headwinds. If you need a compact crankset, check out the Falco Advanced.

The Alex Rims are tough and light. Laced to Shimano 2200 quick-release hubs with stainless steel spokes, this wheelset gives you the low rotating mass and excellent durability you need to smash out some serious kilometres. If you need even more speed, ask about the Mavic Aksium wheelset upgrade.
